e
primarily teach a style of hatha yoga which involves
developing a deepening understanding of the breathing process as a means to awaken the inherent intelligence and possibilities of a strong and flexible body, to promote optimim health in all of the organic systems, and to help cultivate a mind that is relaxed, alert and present at all times. We use classical yoga poses, with a strong emphasis on the standing poses, as well as supported and restorative poses and meditation instruction. Our classes are small so there is ample opportunity for individual instruction from the teachers and programs that can be adapted to all levels and needs of our students.
