Arthur Kilmurray is one of the most creative and innovative yoga instructors in the United States, integrating cutting edge science with classical yogic wisdom. His classes combine explorations in breath, sound, simple movements and gestures to awaken the pathways of action and perception and initiate the state of embodied yogic awareness, and yoga poses as explorations of the deepening mystery of the self-organizing awakening process rippling through the planes of human consciousness and opening us all to deeper levels of wisdom and compassion so necessary in our crazy modern times. “I continue to be blessed with many extraordinary teachers, all of whom continuously inspire my practice and teaching. I have been exceptionally blessed to have had in depth personal studies with: Vedanta master Swami Dayananda, yoga teachers Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar and Ramanand Patel; somatic pioneers Emilie Conrad, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Susan Harper, Hubert Godard and Caryn McHose; Structural Integrationists Tom Myers and Kevin Frank: Spiritual cosmologists and ecologists Thomas Berry and Brian Swimme; and Gempo Roshii , Zen and the 'Big Mind" process innovator. Although I have yet to meet them personally, interpersonal neurobiologist Dan Siegel, integral mastermind Ken Wilber and spiritual teacher Adyashanti also continue to have a major impact on my understanding of what is unfolding moment to moment and how to present the teachings. “
